I'd Know You Anywhere: A Novel

I'd Know You Anywhere: A Novel - Laura Lippman disappointing. I really wanted to like this more. The premise of the story is interesting and held my attention, but the author is inconsistent with her time line. In 1985, one of the flashbacks makes mention that one could find anyone anywhere via the computer. Really? Maybe in the present-day story line section, but I am similar in age and computers weren't that prevalent then. Also, she likes to use unique words; this is not a fault unless you happen to use it more than once (glean used 3 times already, sussed used twice, and I'm not finished the book yet. Sussed?)
