The Abstinence Teacher
Parts of this book were excellent. Point of view of a sex-ed teacher who is forced to encourage abstinence in her high school students. Considering Perrotta's previous works, I ended up expecting much more and was extremely disappointed. It was a very quick read, but I found it preachy, and the protagonist Ruth, severely wishy-washy. And the ending.... I slapped it shut, and said "what a disappointment". Just too many loose ends here.
