Started off slowly... the word "morose" comes to mind. But the spool raveled into a satisfying conclusion. Stick with it. By the time you are almost halfway through, you not only start to enjoy the ride, you want to continue non-stop express-like to the end.Yes, if you read the other Goodreaders, you will too realize that this medicine woman is ahead of her time. But I can't think of another compelling way to draw in the modern reader.
