Not my usual forte. I think I picked this up because the title "Outlander" had a decent rating somewhere (?), but this was the book by Gil Adamson.
This is a historical romance set in Scotland. A few Goodreads reviewers complain about the blatant sexuality, which although indeed slutty, fits in with the premise of a "romance". It is unique because the heroine travels back in time 200 years, which is where the majority of the story takes place. I was really into the story by the time it ended, so I went right into the sequel (Dragonfly in Amber) the next book in this series of 7.
