The Leftovers
Happened upon the HBO publicity stunt in Times Square, just prior to the TV series premiere, so decided to DVR the series, but since we were going on a road trip, stopped by the local public library to get the audio CDs. Now, although I liked Little Children, both book, then movie, I thought this would be a good idea to interest husband and me as a teaser. It was okay. Just okay. A few too many characters for an audio book. The narrator wasn't great. After 4 hours, we decided it was okay, just okay, again, so chose to end it there, and didn't continue on our 4 hours drive back.
