Started this as an audio book and never got around to continuing it for some reason, but when I saw the ad for the movie, I decided to pick it up again. Very similar in style, of course, to Everything is Illuminated. I don't think it's a better story, but will make a good movie. Actually glad I read it in book form now, since the visuals of the typeset and photos would otherwise have been absent in my experience had I continued listening to the audio version. I gave it 3 stars because I found the narrations from the grandmother distracting at times. I wanted to spend more time with Oskar.
