Amazing! This has taken me a long time to read because first I read the first part "Before" which is parallel to The Giver. It had been several years since I read the trilogy, so I continued with Gathering Blue and The Messenger, before reading the rest of Son.Also, liked it better than the second and third book, but still nothing as good as The Giver
